Street Hockey Report for Tuesday 27th May 2014

1. No Hockey this Friday, 5/30

Although there was no hockey scheduled this week, several people have signed up for hockey on the 30th. So, I want to make sure everyone knows that there is NO HOCKEY ON MAY 30th.

2. Sign up for Friday 6/6, 8-10pm in Musashi-Urawa

- Please SIGN UP by 10pm on 5/28

- Getting there: Meet at Musashi-Urawa station, West Exit at 7:30-7:40 and split taxis. You can walk from Musashi-Urawa or Kita-Toda station. Some buses go near the rink.

- Games: Aim for 4 games (3 games of 2x10min periods, 1 game of 3x8min periods).

- Jerseys: Please bring both a white and a dark shirt to play in.

- Cost: Should be about 2500-3000yen per player. Goalies and gals are 500yen.

- Beer: Always possible...

3. World Cup Soccer anyone?

Jordan, East Tokyo's local hooligan, is organizing a group to go watch some World Cup soccer on the big screen at Tokyo Dome on Sunday, June 15th at 10am. If you would like to join him or need some clarity, please let us know and we will pass you his email address.

When you get in touch, let him know if you have a preference for ticket type. There are 3 choices:

(a) On the field, ¥3300, no drinking.

(b) Reserved seats, ¥2900, drinks okay but they can only guarantee 4 people can sit together.

(c) Unreserved seats, ¥2700, drinking okay but you need to go early to ensure the group can sit together...

4. Monday dodgeball anyone?

Will, West Tokyo's local ball sport enthusiast, has started up a dodgeball night and is looking for some brave souls to come out and play.
